Spring has officially sprung in the vibrant city of New Orleans, and with it comes a whirlwind of belly laughs and humorous antics! The comedy shows in town promise a stellar lineup of talented comedians, ready to entertain audiences with their unique styles and wit. Kicking things off, the incredible Taylor Tomlinson will grace the stage at the stunning Mahalia Jackson Theater on April 11. Her sharp humor has captured hearts everywhere, so expect a night full of laughter!
On March 27, the one and only W. Kamau Bell will perform at The Joy Theater. As an added bonus, he’ll also be participating in the New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University during the same weekend, making a splash with his sharp insights.
As you’re strolling through the city, check out some of the local comedians bringing the funny to life in intimate settings. Shannon Ford Middleton hits the stage at The Howlin’ Wolf on March 24. Right after him, Rich Vos entertains audiences at the same venue on March 28. Two nights later, the hilariously charismatic Trixx will spread his comedic magic at Sports Drink on March 28-29.
You won’t want to miss Jiaoying Summers at Joy Theater on March 29, followed closely by a blockbuster night on March 30 with both Kevin Hart and Josh Johnson performing at Saenger Theatre and Joy Theater, respectively. Talk about a comedy extravaganza!
As April rolls in, don’t forget to catch Anjelah Johnson-Reyes . She lights up the Orpheum Theater on April 3. Just one day later, beloved comedian Kathleen Madigan showcases her sharp observations at Joy Theater. Meanwhile, Ziwerekoru “Ziwe” Fumudoh takes the stage at Civic Theatre on April 4.
Other notable acts include Liz Miele at Sports Drink on April 4-5, Anthony Robustiano at The Howlin’ Wolf on April 5, and Stavros Halkias at Orpheum Theater on April 6.
