In 2024, the Bayou Boogaloo made significant strides in recycling efforts, collecting 220 lbs of aluminum, 295 lbs of plastic, 320 lbs of glass, and 35 lbs of cardboard. The festival also encouraged the use of 2,018 reusable cups, diverting a whopping 1,395 lbs from landfills. This year, funding from Keep Louisiana Beautiful’s 2024 Greener Grounds Grant will further enhance waste reduction and recycling efforts, helping you enjoy a more eco-friendly festival experience!
